to both borrowers and participants 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We provide this information via our proprietary software solution called
Loan-Link enables us to offer our clients superior loan servicing
capabilities using efficiencies of technology. Bank
participants have access to loan specific
documents through our password-protected Internet site. The security
features built into Loan-Link ensure that only the bank participants
holding an interest in the loan have access to loan information. This
virtual file room functionality enables participating lenders to enhance
productivity and investment management.
Construction loans are necessary in the course of any construction project,
but they are extremely technical and require well-coordinated oversight.
Marshall BankFirst has a dedicated team charged with managing all aspects
of a construction loan. After a loan closes, we closely monitor construction
draw requests from the borrower. In most cases, before
any funds are forwarded, our inspecting engineers make a site visit to
ensure the project is on schedule, on budget and is following the intended
design. The draw request is approved only after the inspecting
engineer is satisfied with the project’s status. We then
communicate with participant banks and coordinate the draw funding. Throughout
the loan servicing process we work to ensure accurate draw distribution
as well as complete collection of funds.
